Featured Success Story - Jem

Just an update on Jem.

She is fitting into our family wonderfully, we can't imagine a time without her. She is fully house trained and is starting her regular training. She can sit, stay, lay down with just hand signals. It is a lot easier when she just follows whatever Rio does :) We are working on her excitement when people come to the door and her obsession with foam flip-flops! 

She loves her daily trips to the dog parks and her recall is amazing for her age. We are working on her leash training but she is getting there (she no longer pulls me down the stairs).

Rio and Jem are the best of friends and snuggle every night on one bed (even though we bought two). She has taken a few trips around the agility course but she seems to be more concerned about where Rio is! 

A fellow dog-walker took a video of her first swim at Long Lake a couple of days after we got her.

She is now retrieving her ball as long as I don't throw it too far. We are very happy with our new family member and our sincere thanks for bringing Jem into our lives.
