Terry

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how little Terry is making out. You will remember that we adopted him in June, 2004.

He is a happy little fella all the time and he loves to play. As long as we are willing to throw a plush toy or ball, he's happy to bring it back. He likes to play tug of war too and growls so hard you'd think he is vicious.

In the morning, I like to read the paper before I get ready for work. I open the blinds and sit on the swivel rocker in front of the big window. Terry jumps up and lays across my shoulder and the back of the chair so he can watch the world.

In the evening we go for a long walk and he uses his nose to learn as much as he can about every dog who has used that trail since the last time we were there. When we come home he flops.

He absolutely loves to ride in the car and looks really dejected if we leave without taking him. He'll get his chance this fall because we're going to take him to Alabama with us in November.

He used to have a bit of trouble with the cat. Charlie (cat) was bigger than Terry and used to put the run to him now and then. Terry was very cautious about entering the kitchen which was the cat's territory. Unfortunately, Charlie, who was 14 or 15 years old, got sick this summer and had to be put to sleep. I really miss him, but I don't think Terry does. ;o))

There are a couple of pictures attached that I took today, just so you can see that he's doing great.

Thanks again....he really enriches our lives. If only all of us could love like he does.
