Pickles

She is quite at home now, running all over the place and has tested
all my plants to see if they are snacking material. Luckily, she
has settled on just one that looks like grass and is harmless
to her. She also has endeared herself to our older cat Misty and
when we go out, she will snuggle right into Misty's butt as the
two happily occupy our best couch.
At night now, she sleeps under our bed and is at my feet as soon
as I awake looking for some petting. She is very friendlly with
me but still is weary of my husband. He is so gentle with her,
but I think it is just a male thing. Her caretakers at your shelter
were, I am guessing, mostly female so it is natural that she would
be leary of men. He is willing to wait it out and is happy just
to watch her fly around playing with anything that moves. She
is pretty entertaining I must say. We had quite the entertainment
when she first encountered a full length mirror. She kept trying
to get the cat on the other side and must have checked behind
the mirror a dozen times hoping to catch that little cat.
We
are quite in love with this little creature now and so happy that
she is at ease in our home. Thank goodness you were there to save
her or we never would have her today.
Thanks
again for all your good work.
