About one year ago we made a trip to your animal shelter and fell in love with Daisy who is a Lab & German shorthaired Pointer mix (we think).  Daisy has fit into our family very well but has never gotten over her submissive behavior around large men.  She will cower and pee if frightened by them, therefore, we think she had a tramatic experience as a pup!

Daisy was comparatively skinny when we got her but has rounded out to about 75 pounds now.  She is a kind gentle sole and love to play with her adopted sister Lois (the Black Lab) who belongs to my son. She can run like a gazelle and loves to leap at the snow flakes!  Her toys are her favorite things and she stashes them all over the house.  She will bring her kong to me to put a spoon full of peanut butter in it for her to lick.  You would think she was getting an ice cream cone!

It had been quite a while since we owned a dog and Daisy was quite an adjustment because of her large size.  However, we wouldn't trade her for the world...
